GIVING TIPS FOR PROTECTION AGAINST HOME REPAIR
FRAUD IN WAKE OF TORNADOES THAT STRUCK ALABAMA
(MONTGOMERY) – Attorney General Luther Strange and the Alabama
Home Builders Association joined together to provide a public service
announcement to protect Alabama’s citizens from home repair fraud in the wake
of the tornadoes that struck Alabama last week.
“It is important that we get the message out to criminals who would prey
on our citizens that the law enforcement of Alabama is on guard and we will not
tolerate anyone causing further harm to our people who have suffered the
devastation of these tornadoes and storms,” said Attorney General Strange. “It is
equally important that we provide our citizens with the best weapons against
home repair fraud, which are knowledge and prevention. I urge the radio
stations of Alabama to run these PSAs often as a valuable means of protecting
and serving their communities.”
