Regarding Public Service Commission vote on Mobile Gas
“Over the last six months, my staff has been closely reviewing
matters regarding Mobile Gas and working with the company and the
Public Service Commission to provide relief to consumers. This morning
the Public Service Commission voted to reduce the return on equity for
Mobile Gas, as well as additional changes to the RSE*. We are pleased with
these steps, which are expected to result in a rate reduction for consumers.”
- Note: RSE refers to a regulatory agreement known as rate stabilization and equalization.
