Two columns
In 1939, the Alabama Merit System Act was passed, and employees of the Attorney General’s Office became subject to the rules of the State Personnel Board. Today, the Attorney General’s staff includes more than 150 employees with diversified skills and training in law, public administration, investigation, consumer affairs, utility regulation, paralegal studies, and other disciplines.
